Interesting work day today.

I woke up late... yes I did. So I guess me being a lean, mean, working machine was not really accurate. lol I quickly showered, grabbed me some work pants, let my hair dry on the way and made sure not to forget my laptop as I hopped in the car.

When I drive, I always imagine that I'm in a movie with music going on in the background! So, I got me some intense punk rock music and blared it out of my windows as I raced to work. I made it here 2 minutes over 11 because it takes me 2 minutes to turn my car off, get out, and get my ass to the door.

So, it was ok. I didn't miss anything.

I met Lex and Winston at the door (Reyes dogs) and said my happy hellos.

Apparently the morning started off badly for some people I won't mention.

Today's To Do List:

• Find dogs (not lex or winston) and feed them then bring them to the Reyes house
• Eat lunch at central market
• Create an office upstairs for the intern (me) and Gwen
• put in all gossip girl books into the database (should have already been done...but it wasn't) because we are going to interview Cecily von Ziegesar or someone else is. SOON
• work on week 2 of the "missing database project"
• dun...dun....dun....

It's hot outside.
I need to read a book..
What I really need to do later is start writing my novel. Yes, I'm writing one. You should look for me in the future sometime! :)

We had an adventure today! Off to Mindy's house in Irving!

We stopped for lunch at 7 Salas and then went for the house.
Pat, Mindy, Sara, Gwen and me are in attendance.

People, these ladies are hilarious!! HILARIOUS!!

Lots of gossip AND sex talk! I'm glad I'm already used to this. Dorms are much worse...

To Do List:

• Enter June books into the database
• Categorize book papers for reviewers by Month and genre
• Survive all the crazy chit chat!

Update: Oh Dear Lord, the more you read romance novels the more you either REALLY REALLY want a fake lovey dovey romance or you think love is STUPID!

I'm of course in the first category; but, I won't ever get that hot steamy paranormal romance I so desperately want :(

Ohh, the woes of being me!

Update: Looking for Harlequin book summaries is such a chore and IMPOSSIBLE! Geeeeez!

I arrived to work on-time, as usual, and got straight to work! That's right. I'm tough, I'm smart, and I'm a mean, clean working machine! lol :P

I'm so totally wearing my work pants! aka: my pajama bottoms paired with a HUGE sweatshirt. Yes, I'm comfy and you should be jealous. Working for a company that works from home is AMAZING! I will do this oneday :) It's the life.

Since I have no internet at the house at the moment, long story, I checked all my emails, facebook messages, and made a twitter! I have finally succumbed to the "social networking" peer people of the world. I am under BeckyTalks. Check me out!

Things to do today:
- Update Robert Crais' back list and author page on Fresh Fiction
- Continue to work on "missing data project" currently on week June 30 - July 7

- I should find another book to read and review
- check email to see if anyone from FF needs to haze me with something else...j/k (it cool, no hazing here! honest!) lol
